Xbox one Controller identified as Bluetooth LE Xinput Device

Hi,

I recenlty got a new controller and went ahead and updated the controller firmware through the XBOX accessories app, after the update however the controller is not recognised as Xbox one controller in Bluetooth mode rather as Bluetooth LE Xinput device.

The issue that concerns me is, that FIFA only allows genuine controllers, and since in Bluetooth mode it is not recognised as genuine the FIFA is not supporting the controller.

I have manually tried changing the driver for this device from device manager but it is not working. I want to know if there is a patch that can fix my controller

identification issues ??

    Guys, i have a solution. I figured out that it was the controller firmware update that screwed things up, so what you wanna do is

    1.- Install xbox accesories from the microsoft store

    2.-go to file explorer

    3.-click on "this pc"

    4.-click above where it says -this pc-

    5.- paste in the following command: xboxaccessories:\firmwareupdate?legacyDowngrade=true

    That will allow you to roll back the firmware from your pc! Just make sure the controller is connected with usb

    This fixed my issue 100%. Thank you for this.

    The "updated" firmware is junk.

    Microsoft, please FIT IT.

    Reinstalling the firmware via Xbox Accessories, fixes that.

    I did it, now finally after the rollback of the firmware everything worked, thank you very much! Microsoft got a huge dislike for its attitude towards its products and their quality.

    It does not allow me to roll back, it says that there are no available firmware (link) :(

    i got to this work by going into steam and changing the controller steam input and it started working
