Xbox one Controller identified as Bluetooth LE Xinput Device

Hi,

I recenlty got a new controller and went ahead and updated the controller firmware through the XBOX accessories app, after the update however the controller is not recognised as Xbox one controller in Bluetooth mode rather as Bluetooth LE Xinput device.

The issue that concerns me is, that FIFA only allows genuine controllers, and since in Bluetooth mode it is not recognised as genuine the FIFA is not supporting the controller.

I have manually tried changing the driver for this device from device manager but it is not working. I want to know if there is a patch that can fix my controller

identification issues ??

    Guys, i have a solution. I figured out that it was the controller firmware update that screwed things up, so what you wanna do is

    1.- Install xbox accesories from the microsoft store

    2.-go to file explorer

    3.-click on "this pc"

    4.-click above where it says -this pc-

    5.- paste in the following command: xboxaccessories:\firmwareupdate?legacyDowngrade=true

    That will allow you to roll back the firmware from your pc! Just make sure the controller is connected with usb

    You can try following steps:

    Press Win+S and type device manager to open device manager.

    • Locate Human Interface Devices options.
    • select Bluetooth LE XINPUT compatible input device.
    • Right click Properties option and go to the driver tab.
    • Select update driver and choose browse my computer for drivers.
    • Click let me pick from a list.
    • Uncheck the box that says show compatible dardware.
    • This will bring up 2 boxes. The left should have MICROSOFT selected.
    • In the right box scroll down to XBOX ONE WIRELESS CONTROLLER and select it.
    • Click yes on the pop up.

    hi i did this but after restart my computer readds my controller again as le xinout device

    I am on Windows 11, Latest Insiders version, and as mentioned by @Josh and @Cpazzra changing this setting does not persist after restart.

    Trust me the posted solution does not work in windows 10 either.

    Following the 'solution' you are asked to restart the computer and as soon as you do it reverts back to Bluetooth LE XINPUT

    Seems amazing it is easier to connect a Sony PS4 controller to windows than one of Microsofts own devices. Well done MS!

    This doesn't work on bluetooth mode and buttons works inaccurate . Need patch to solve this or make a seperate drivers for xbox wireless controller series x
