Hey there. Did you manage to sort this issue? I got a brand new PC and HDR monitor.
I'm getting crazy levels of colour saturation. Then super over exposure / brighted out whies which is so noticeable (likes yours but stronger still).
If I turn off HDR it gets even brighter still.
If I tone down brightness, gamma etc, then the whole screen dulls yet the whites stay so bright they are burning my retinas out.
What makes me chuckle is that my contrast (if changed) does not effect contrast. It seems to effect brightness.
Been video editing for a number of years so I am aware of difference between sat, contrast, brightness and gamma but it seems the monitors settings don't seem quite right.
I've tweeked in Windows, on the monitor settings and with the monitor and I can't find a happy medium.
I mean, there's not even a gamma control? or colour fixing anymore. I thought Windows 10 was bad.
I'd like to use HDR seeing as my monitor has it but I can live without not using it.
Right now the colours are WAY too over saturated, notably on reds no matter if HDR or SDR.
But
Moreso, the bright whites and yellows are clearly not right and painful to look at.
ANYWAY. Did you manage to find a fix?
