Over-exposure in screenshots and recordings with HDR in Windows 11

Hello, I am inquiring about an issue I can't seem to solve (without turning HDR off all-together, which defeats the purpose of having it even be an option in Windows 11)

In recordings (primarily using OBS) and in screenshots (with snip and sketch) everything appears extremely over-exposed / bright with HDR enabled. This is a big problem for me as I actually, well, want to use the OS normally. I record lots of clips and take many screenshots and I've finally gotten fed up of it and am now looking for a solution. Any help appreciated, thanks

(snip and sketch has since stopped doing it, however it likes to do it randomly now. commonly happens in fullscreen programs and also my web browser for some reason)

    Turning hdr off to take screen shot works, then turning it back on afterwards is the only fix.

    Ugh I swear the people that reply to this who appear to be offical representatives of Microsoft don't know a thing. They barely speak English, they simply reference text book problem solving manuals sitting on their desk or in their computer somewhere, sitting in the middle of India across the Atlantic. They know nothing. This complaint from the OP is from nearly two years ago exactly, and still there is no solution. Every suggestion made by the so-called Microsoft Official is just text book suggestions. I know how rude my opinion is on the matter but it's true nonetheless. Read at the response "sorry for misunderstood" like, what is that? That's broken English. Let alone their weird names. This crossover between English and whatever language they speak creates an EXTREME disconnect and people cannot communicate clearly with them because they don't understand anything. They're just 3rd world pee-ons that seriously get paid **** to supposedly provide support. I could find those solutions they suggest on my own simply by searching online. It would be nice to actually get a real developer response that says here's what the deal is and then they take this issue to the top and they actually fix it. Naw, instead it will take 20 years. So tired of the disconnect and text book suggestions. HDR is great where it works but even Microsoft's own built-in screenshot code is not somehow compatible with Microsoft's own HDR technology? OK because that makes a lot of sense. "Sorry for misunderstood."

    But still doesn't make sense, microsoft made this .. and it's not compatible with there own software..

    At least for now I have found a temp fix.

    Hdr is fantastic when playing advanced games .. but extremely demanding for 4k, i don't have a comp for that yet.

    Oled hdr has a lot of problems, I feel like we are the ginny pigs for there new toy.
