Microsoft Store missing from Windows 10, can't restore, can't install apps

I've tried all the troubleshooters and nothing works. When run this command in shell:

Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

...... I get this:

My Microsoft Photos is missing, so I can't get that back because the Store doesn't work..........HEEEEEEEEELLPPPP!!!

    I'm not sure what you mean -- the options are to set performance preference for a specific Desktop app or an app within Microsoft Store. I don't need to give preference to any apps, and there's nothing within the Microsoft Store list of apps that I need to give preference to either. I don't think there's a way to give the Store itself any preference. I don't see that listed.

    @Greg @Stef, what do you think of my plan to let Windows 11 install and then revert back to Windows 10?

    You should do a reinstall of Windows 10. Every time I did it (from USB) I had the Microsoft Store, even on Virtual Machines. The thing is that it the error you get is due to Licensing Issues, as in Powershell it says. It's weird tho.

    Well, I've already done three installs of Windows 10, so I don't think I'll be doing that again soon. I'm just going to leave it alone for now. I'll have to do without a few of the things that I like, such as RAW file thumbnails in the File Explorer and things like that. I don't use the Store for much, so I think I'll manage.

I'll have to do without a few of the things that I like, such as RAW file thumbnails in the File Explorer and things like that. I don't use the Store for much, so I think I'll manage.

    Hmm, try doing this:

    install Windows 11

    then run from the .iso file (open it with explorer, and be sure to be the 10 one, not 11) setup.exe, in compatibility mode, under Windows 8. Make it run under Win 8 so we are sure it reinstalls the Store. Or you can try compatibility mode Windows 10, but I am not sure if it will work as I said. Anyways, after you run the installer choose what to keep. I would recommend trying layer by layer, first files and settings, then only files, then remove everything (if you don't need anything on that computer). Let it do its job and see if the Store works.
