I've retried several times in the past couple of days. This problem slows my computer - like every issue with Windows updates, including when it needs to update...

Please fix this! I'm not interested in doing de-bugging for Microsoft. Clean up your applications, before releasing them, like software companies did 30 years ago. You have the public de-bug your software, and it's ridiculous. Microsoft makes enough money to pay people to do this.

The last thing I wanted to do today is deal with another MS Windows 11 hassle.

    Kirk -

Why is Microsoft having the public de-bug their software???

Please send steps on how to disable/delete this update for Windows 11:

Update for Windows Security platform - KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2109.27002)

    Install error - 0x80070643

The troubleshooter worked on it for an hour, and it couldn't resolve it.

Fix it, then re-send an update that isn't buggy - And please stop releasing software before it's been de-bugged.

MS Windows slows my computer every time it wants to update, which is far too often. With this issue, my computer is incredibly slow. It needs to be fixed immediately.

    Thank you.

Hello, I have access to 3 x Win 11 PC's all very new, all running Win11 Pro, 2 have Gen 11 high end Gigabyte motherboards and 11500 Intel processors. The 3rd PC is a Gen 10 with a high end Gigabyte Aorus motherboard and an Intel 10400 Intel Processor. NOW, one of the 11 gen pc's installed this update immediately whilst the other Gen 11 installed it after 3 x consultations with Microsoft and myself finally resetting Windows Security. The 3rd PC the Gen 10 unit completely refuses to install this update no matter what I have tried.

On this PC I have just hidden the update using this:

To hide updates on Windows 11, use these steps:

    1. Open the Microsoft Download Center page.
    2. Click the download link for the Show or hide updates troubleshooter.
    3. Double-click the wushowhide. ...
    4. Click the Next button.
    5. Click the Hide updates option.
    6. Select the Windows 11 update to hide from the system.
    7. Click the Next button. What I find blantently unprofessional is the lack of a statement from Microsoft, their intentions, a fix. Surely what they should do is to withdraw this update and reissue it when they have a 100% working new KB available. Could the moderators of this site please lean on Microsoft to do so.

    Cheers
