I got an error for this Update for Windows Security platform - KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2109.27002) and can't seem to find a solution. Install error - 0x80070643 Anyone got any ideas?

    I tried this and I still can't download the update. I can't even open the windows security menu in my settings.

    Pls check out Shakusky's reply on Page 2 of this thread.. which says:

    Simply access the Windows Security app settings (right-click on Windows Security in the Start Menu). Once there, hit "Repair" and "Reset". Then, attempt the Windows update again. Worked for me!

    Did you try creating a separate administrator account called "admin" (or anything different than "administrator") and trying to apply the update?

    Yes. I created a local admin account named “Gravel” , logged in using that, changed ownership of the quoted folder as described, changed the permissions as described, exited the file explorer screens, tried the update - still fails.

    Also, I never received error message to begin with. I just see the K5007651 update appear, then install successfully with no error. But, if I click windows update again, it shows up and repeats the above process.

    Actually, I resolved issue by hiding the update. Also, I did not setup another account using 'ADMIN' other than default administrator.
