I bought 2 laptop 2 months ago with factory install Win 11 in S mode. I have the same installation error. Microsoft should develop updates that work for both Win 10 and 11 S and pro modes.

This is the interesting part how important...

    The answers are:

-I search on internet cannot find nothing from Microsoft about it official...

-if this thing will not be fixed I will hide this update and move on...this is not the first time when Microsoft screw things up for the windows update

This seems complicated and I do not wish to risk messing up The system. How crucial is this update if it’s disregarded?
