Hello, I have access to 3 x Win 11 PC's all very new, all running Win11 Pro, 2 have Gen 11 high end Gigabyte motherboards and 11500 Intel processors. The 3rd PC is a Gen 10 with a high end Gigabyte Aorus motherboard and an Intel 10400 Intel Processor. NOW, one of the 11 gen pc's installed this update immediately whilst the other Gen 11 installed it after 3 x consultations with Microsoft and myself finally resetting Windows Security. The 3rd PC the Gen 10 unit completely refuses to install this update no matter what I have tried.
On this PC I have just hidden the update using this:
To hide updates on Windows 11, use these steps:
- Open the Microsoft Download Center page.
- Click the download link for the Show or hide updates troubleshooter.
- Double-click the wushowhide. ...
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Hide updates option.
- Select the Windows 11 update to hide from the system.
- Click the Next button.
What I find blantently unprofessional is the lack of a statement from Microsoft, their intentions, a fix. Surely what they should do is to withdraw this update and reissue it when they have a 100% working new KB available. Could the moderators of this site please lean on Microsoft to do so.
Cheers
