I got an error for this Update for Windows Security platform - KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2109.27002) and can't seem to find a solution. Install error - 0x80070643 Anyone got any ideas?

    I am getting the same error on

    Windows 11 Pro
    Version 21H2
    OS Build 22000.675
    Exp Pack 1000.22000.675.0

    I ran the script asd an Admin
    sfc /scannow

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth 
    
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth 
    
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth 
    

    zero errors. Rebooted, then ran it again, zero errors. Then tried to run the update and the error
    Update for Windows Security platform - KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2109.27002)
    Install error - 0x80070643

    Repairing Windows Security solved this issue for me.

    Settings -->> Apps -->> Apps & Features -->> Windows Security -->> Click on 3 dots -->> Choose Advanced -->> Repair

    The DL from the MS store was interfering with the running of the program (it was unzipping it). Deleting it allowed me to run the program and hide the problem update. Thanks for your help :) Also, this is a workaround. The problem is not actually solved. The hope is a future security update does this.

    try to stop any 3rd-party firewall and anti virus and then try to update again (after the update finished you can start the firewall and antivirus). that solved the problem for me.
