Windows 11 is keep installing the wrong AMD driver

Hi Paul, i just finished doing the first step, and at this moment i did not have any amd software. I changed the settings to "NOT DOWNLOAD AUTOMATICALLY" and then restarted my laptop. After this, i downloaded my amd auto detect software which has installed the amd adrenaline software, which i wanted.. But the problem persists, and windows update is downloading the display adapter again. What do i do?

I have Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon integrated graphics, for your reference.

#1. This does not work. The first opportunity Windows Update gets to install these always broken AMD drivers, it will install them. The only fix is to not allow Windows to update anything at all. Whatever these AMD drivers are that Microsoft insists that we have will result in some games telling you that you do not meet their minimum requirements to run them and AMD Adrenaline from running at all because your drivers are not compatible. If AMDs own software can't run on whatever it is that you are installing, that should tell you everything you need to know.

#2. This only works this time IF you have not already installed the broken driver. The next available version will automatically get installed.

#3. Everyone should have this without need a group policy to protect themselves from this nonsense.

Microsoft needs to worry about Windows and Microsoft's own software and let me worry about AMD and everything else on my computer.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried almost everything. Did you solve this issue?

I also have this same issue. Turned off updating drivers in gpedit and hardware tab and it still updates the driver after I use AMDs website to install driver's and software.
