I installed the proper version on the amd website with auto detect and windows 11 is keep installing the old driver which is causing graphics problems. How to stop this ?

Then if you follow what W0nd3rwi3ss suggests (on the previous page), making sure to select the reason why you're rolling back to the AMD Radeon Website provided drivers is because the Windows Update provided ones stopped your app from working, that'll fix this bug. Give it a try and by all means report back exactly what happens.
If you 'blacklist' the Windows Update provided drivers by saying that they stopped your app from working, Windows won't attempt to install them again.
amd version 23.4.1 ryzen 7 4000series, win11 home, still having this issue
This is a very long procedure for something that shouldnt happen in the first place.
Hi, I tried this solution with 23.3.2 on a freshly setup Win 11 (Home version) installation. If it's not working for you, when Windows asked the reason why you wanted to roll-back to the brand new Radeon drivers, if you've correctly selected that the Windows Update provided drivers stopped the app from working, I'd try doing it again exactly as described (although it worked first time for me - the only solution that has so far).
If Windows Update reinstalls the same old driver that stops your apps/games from functioning, then that's another issue to take up with Microsoft (and good luck with that). If it tries installing a different Radeon driver, then I'd go through the same process of black marking any Windows Update provided drivers you don't want untill it lets you keep the AMD provided version - if only because Windows Update has run out of alternatives.

This was one of our fixes too, but we found that it hasn't worked from 23.3.1 and upwards for us (AMD version numbers). It's definitely an AMD issue as much as Windows, we were just hoping to see if there was something we missed (as 11 isn't a core product for us). Everything else on the W11 systems has been perfect. However, Not being able to pick and choose the updates manually is keeping us from stopping this neatly. Our insider build boxes also don't have it yet either. One of the things we've really, really missed from 10.
