So far I have made it 3 days with windows update turned off and it has not messed with my driver. I plan on running the updates at the end of the week and rolling back the gpu driver.

I installed the proper version on the amd website with auto detect and windows 11 is keep installing the old driver which is causing graphics problems. How to stop this ?

2022-12-04T18:44:56+00:00 I have not found a fix for this nothing I look up helps but I have found an temp fix pause windows update then go to device manager and locate the device (in my case it is under display adapters and AMD Radeon (TM) Graphics) right click and hit properties then go to the driver tab and hit roll back driver and your AMD driver will be back. This is a lot faster then re-downloading amd software. Make sure to update in the adrenaline software.

2022-12-01T10:23:30+00:00 Same issue. I tried everything.. System settings, Regedit, Gpedit. It's frustrating since it is my office PC and I have to reset drivers every 2-3 days and losing a lot of time.

2022-11-17T15:48:54+00:00 What helped me personally to solve this issue was actually a pretty simple solution. Open Device manager and find your device, double-click it and go to driver. Then click at something like "return changes of the driver" (I have it in Czech, so I'm not sure what it says in English). After you do that, it'll switch the driver back to the version you've installed and shouldn't update again.
