Windows 11 is keep installing the wrong AMD driver

Beautiful response. Y'all, note that Windows 11 does NOT improve user experience. It further takes away earlier available features and limits user experience. They're complete asses. It seems Christopher works for or has an OEM organization. What alternative is there to OEM / Retail licensing of MS OSes? More expensive purchases by the end customers for ever more expensive extortion ransom licenses. Anybody who cares should do a little research on what MS has made of their licensing. A good source for that information is TenForums, or now ElevenForums. They're far better than anything Windows offers. It will be an eye opener.

Trying to get an answer to a Microsoft problem on this community forum is better than trying to reach MS support directly. That is the worst possible option. Yet, experiencing this forum is a direct object lesson on the Dunning Kruger effect.

You're absolutely right. Microsoft needs to stop these nonsense cram-down-your-throat changes without giving you the option to refuse them. We're forced to waste enormous time and energy to undo their nanny ****. They have to stop their monopoly BS.

I agree I Have reinstalled the latest version of AMD drivers 12 times and have the auto driver update on OFF BUT IT KEEPS GOING BACK TO THE OLD DRIVERS THE NEXT DAY!!! SOMEONE HELP !!!

So far it's been about a month and a half since I did that and I still have the driver that I installed. I'd say that it's been a pretty permanent solution for me.

Same issue. I tried everything.. System settings, Regedit, Gpedit. It's frustrating since it is my office PC and I have to reset drivers every 2-3 days and losing a lot of time.
