Hey, i really don't know if this is the right area to talk about this, this may take abit of explanation. I came back to my computer to find that my normal email that is connected to my microsoft account i use to access my windows is not what it is but instead was ru*****@rambler.ru now at that moment i did see the actual email address but i was scared that i got hacked i went straight into my administrator and deleted that user which in reality is the user i use every day to do my school work and everything else, i know this was a stupid decision and i hate myself for it but i did made a system restore before i did that and got my user account back but because my windows account was connected to my microsoft account and because they have changed the email to whatever it is ru*****@rambler.ru i cannot do anything, i have looked at the fourms but they need the acutal full email to even begin to recover if its possible. Im sorry if my grammer or how i sentenced things was bad, not the best at english but please is there any way to retrieve my account back?

I have the same problem: microsoft account is hacked and inlog e-mail adres is changed (by the hackers)
The result is that my account does not exist anymore! And my data incl. vault are stolen.
All the help on MS support and the MS forums denies this possibility, but it actually happens!!

This doesn't help you but i am in the same situation as you. A month later after you posted your forum. My account was hacked. The email was changed to a rambler.ru account/user as well. The same email i normally use for my main email to my Microsoft just changed one day and its the current situation me and you are put in. But i was able to obtain and look at the changed email the hacker made. If you can try to sign in using your computers 4 digit code you'll be able to see the email the hacker used. This is the most and farthest i have made it in the progress of trying to get my Microsoft account back. But getting the email they changed your Microsoft account to is an huge step foward. I hope you make progress in getting your account back. Do inform or reply back if anything i said helped you because i myself need help getting my account back aswell
So, looking to the history of these "stolen MS accounts" reportings, i think the very worst thing is that MS is not helping us at all.
We pay for MS items, cannot do without MS, trust our digital belongings to MS, "the vault cannot be openend by others" and more of these personal things and get no help from MS when things go wrong.

Hello, the same issue happened to me today, I did got the email ( ******@rambler.ru ) and did the from I filled everything xbox id username sky username etc, and they still denied me. I honestly think their recovery system is a scam. I provided more then enough info on a pc I used a day ago as well as 2 old passwords. I just honestly don't think they care and they probably wont fix this problem anytime soon, sadly I lost a lot of personal info and games I bought but there isn't much I can do about it now. I lost my Minecraft account because of the change they did as well. In a way if you get hacked and they change your password from your email you will never see your account again because there is no kind of customer support.
