Hi,

I am using the latest version of Windows 11 and I have found it out that the App & Browser Control is missing in the Windows Security. Although it is shown in settings but in the app its completely missing after the update. When I clicked it there is no response for it. Kindly check it in your system too and help me out. I am on my Windows 11 Beta version.

I will definitely consider using my USB drive instead of the Windows Recovery tool now, it was just more convenient.

About my situation, I guess I'll have to format.. Again, annoying but yeah, what can I do else? I can't just keep having a corrupted Windows Defender as the only tool to protect me for malicious intents. At least I can say I tried to fix it before hand :')

To be clear, I didn't have this issue before resetting my computer beforehand, so that's a weird result on my hand.

I saw several users claiming having the same situation, including in this thread, so there's something brewing on that doesn't apply to everyone, that's a job for the Insiders and Devs to find out I guess, good luck to them haha.

When I did the "Reset my PC" I did not have to reformat anything, it worked without reformatting.

It was just a pain for the long time it took, but everything worked out fine. 🀣

Why did you reset your computer if you did not have any issues before?

What about restoring an Image backup? Do you keep backups of your working systems?

Submit an FBH report with your problem if you want any investigation done by MS.

I like to keep things clean as it gives less pressure load on to the Hard Drive, and because I'm kind of a maniac lol.
No technical issues that forced me to Reset my computer instance haha.
