Hi,

I am using the latest version of Windows 11 and I have found it out that the App & Browser Control is missing in the Windows Security. Although it is shown in settings but in the app its completely missing after the update. When I clicked it there is no response for it. Kindly check it in your system too and help me out. I am on my Windows 11 Beta version.

This is great, LeBlanc1, but it does not say how to get the App & Browser Control back into the Windows Security window.

You seem to be on the Beta channel because 22H2 will not be released until Sept. 20.

Now, wafter deleting the folder under SecurityHealth, I have a double problem: first, App & Browser Control is stil missing from the Windows Secuirty window, no matter what I do. If Run the PowerShell command Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage I get a message in red letters:

    PS C:\Users\Avner> Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage
    Get-AppxPackage : Access is denied.
    Access is denied.
    At line:1 char:1

    • Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage
    • + CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (:) [Get-AppxPackage], UnauthorizedAccessException
          + FullyQualifiedErrorId : System.UnauthorizedAccessException,Microsoft.Windows.Appx.PackageManager.Commands.GetApp
         xPackageCommand

Now, the Windows Secuirty icon in the notification area (system tray) has a yellow triangle on it with an exclamation mark on it (Actions Recommended) but they must be in the App and Browser Control because opening it shows no actions recommended.

    Thanks.

This worked for me. The update moved the app and browser control away from the security dashboard, but didn't unlink the outstanding actions.

Try this before everything else... Should work in 99% of the time.
