Missing "App & Browser Control" in Windows Security in Windows 11 OS Build 22621.1

Hi,

I am using the latest version of Windows 11 and I have found it out that the App & Browser Control is missing in the Windows Security. Although it is shown in settings but in the app its completely missing after the update. When I clicked it there is no response for it. Kindly check it in your system too and help me out. I am on my Windows 11 Beta version.

    Are you reading the complete Thread??? Some Users posted a Solution here and in Feedback HUB from Microsoft the Problem is on the known Issues list.

    Your machine now has a working / viewable App & Browser Control. correct ?

    as to your other issue, for your benefit:

    As regards tamper protection on Microsoft Defender.

    We have previously run the Powershell's Get-MpComputerStatus command-let and it indicated that that protection is on.

    IsTamperProtected is True

    RealTimeProtectionEnabled is True

    Conclusion, tamper protection is on.

    As to the Windows registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Features

    The value TamperProtection on your system is 1

    which means that it is ON

    The value TamperProtectionSource on your system is 5

    which means it uses the Windows MS Defender signatures for protection

    That is standard and normal.

    NO. That is something from way back in the past. Your Windows system does NOT have that issue.

    Thanks, but this solution does not work in my case. The problematic folder mentioned is gone but App & Browser Control is still missing from my Windows Security / Security at a Glance window. I assume you mean this issue will be fixed by Microsoft in the next version of Windows. Mine is still 21H2.

    I recently did a clean Win 11 home 21H2 build 22000.856 install, and everything went well except for the windows security "action needed" notification. When I opened Win Security, nothing needed attention; however, I noticed the App and Browser Control section was missing. I typed in "App" in the Windows start menu, and the "App and Browser Control" section in system settings popped up. I clicked on it and turned on the "Reputation-based protection," and the "action needed" warning disappeared.

    omg, it worked !
    I was so stressed for past few days, glad i found this post and was finally able to fix this "windows defender actions recommended notification".

    I was also not able to see App and Browser control, i searched it on windows start menu & it finally popped up !
