Hi,

I am using the latest version of Windows 11 and I have found it out that the App & Browser Control is missing in the Windows Security. Although it is shown in settings but in the app its completely missing after the update. When I clicked it there is no response for it. Kindly check it in your system too and help me out. I am on my Windows 11 Beta version.

the app/browser link in the app is just missing that is all, as has been said typing in app in the start menu will bring it up and you select it and activate it, job done.

    Still a stupid bug! 🤣

This is the solution to this bug. Thank you!

    To which bug?

Security Platform KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2207.20002) Missing - Microsoft Community

    Edit:

    9/19/2022

Same problem with latest Windows Security platform update version 1.0.2208.16003 they just keep ignoring the bug that they introduced with 1.0.2207.20002.

These updates work fine with Beta and Dev Builds but not with current public Builds 22000.978 or 22000.1041.

The latest security platform versions 2207 and 2208 are clearly not compatible with 21H2 Builds 22000.xxxx. 😜

Yeah, remember when win 10 came out to uproar of win 7 users. With promises of no more fixes, bugs, updates and no other OS following win 10. The complex but simple illusion of creating false realities with words you think people want to hear. Polititions and tech companies are blurred into the same rhetorc nowadays. Thanks again for the info / fix.
