Headphone Jack not Recognized in Windows 11

I went through all the main steps on this thread, and I have a Dell Inspiron 7386, and couldn't get headphone audio to work. I went through all the Dell driver updates as well to make sure all updates are made: https://www.dell.com/support/drivers.

What finally worked for me on Windows 11 is downloading Waves Maxx Audio Pro which helps enhance audio for Windows: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/waves-maxxaudio-pro-for-dell-2019/9PJPPGG8TGVG?hl=en-us&gl=US&rtc=1

Within the Waves application window, there is a playback section to click on. Click on that and then try "Select Output Device" to Headphones, and then it worked finally! The Sound test option in the application helps to test the outputs, you will see that option in the bottom right of the application window.

I use Realtek HD Audio Universal Service.

When I plug in the headphone jack, I get a prompt. If I accept the prompt in time, it connects the headphones. Better than a restart worse than Windows 10 which required no user interaction.

If you or anyone else is having a similar issue, WavesSvc64 needs to be enabled on startup. I believe that's where the issue comes in. I had it disabled and was getting the same issue and when I enabled it on start-up, it started working again.
To enable it on start-up,

1. go to Task Manager
2. Start-up apps (should be on the left about 4th one down)
3. FInd WavesSvc64 (mine had a blue logo) and set status to enable
