My Headphone Jack no longer works after upgrading to Windows 11. It works if I have it plugged in and reboot, but as soon as I unplug it stops until a reboot....it does not automatically detect it

I tried this and I think the headphone jack just doesn't work at all and the port is completely clean

(Edit is it possible for the port to not be connected to the mother board?)

    Hello,

I have the same issue on the Optiplex 3060 from dell. There only a front headphone jack option. After the last update, it disappeared as an option. The computer towers speakers and the headphone jack are no longer a registered output device on Windows 11. Every update causes a different issue. The most recent update caused this one. For previous issues, my only solution was to reset the pc.

Honestly the Windows 11 upgrade should not have been offered to everyone if it would crash the computer over and over again. I found out about the 10 day window to revert back to windows 10, after the 10 days from the upgrade.

Hello, I have the same issue but with asus on windows 11, the model of my computer is: TUF gaming FX505DT_FX505DT. I wanted to ask if there is any solution for this port. I have tried to install the audio driver provided by the previous conversation but it does not work on my computer, are there any drivers that would work on my computer?
