I am having the same issue with an ASUS. It flat out will not recognize the headphone jack.
Headphone Jack not Recognized in Windows 11
My Headphone Jack no longer works after upgrading to Windows 11. It works if I have it plugged in and reboot, but as soon as I unplug it stops until a reboot....it does not automatically detect it

2024-08-14T08:27:15+00:00 I had this problem when upgrading to Windows 11.
It turned out to be caused by iTunes.
My solution was to go to iTunes "edit" "preferences" "playback" and change "play audio using" from Windows Audio session to Direct sound.
Hope this helps someone. It took me a couple of days to find this fix.
