Pc BSOD or random freeze/rebooting with no real cause.

Thanks i did not know that the i9 was limited to 2666mhz, so i disabled the xmp profile and for now it looks stable… i will edit this reply in max a couple of days and see if my issue is finally gone. In the meantime thanks guys! Really appreciate it!

Please perform the following steps:

The Intel CPU i9-9900K supports RAM up to 2666.

At the time the log collector ran the RAM speed was 3000.

1. Make sure that there is not overclocking during the troubleshooting

Turn off XMP

2. Run Memtest86 for two tests of four passes (total eight passes)

Memtest86 can run overnight.

Take pictures of the test results > post images or share links into this thread

Memtest86 also has a feature to create text reports.

If possible, please include the text reports with the images in the share links.

Hey thanks for the quick reply! So i went into bios were i have the xmp profile active, i put it in auto and reboot and the system bsods before getting or just after getting into windows… i would like to point out that i tested my ram sticks singularly and i had no issues reported… so it comes down to ram speeds profile (?) in the bios… ideas?

Edit: i loaded the optimized defaults for the bios but had to activate csm To get the system booting on my ssd, so far (xmp is now to auto so not loaded) it hasn’t crashed… need to wait some time and see. If you have any other considerations/ideas of why this has/is happening, please reply thx

All drivers and BIOS on your ROG STRIX Z390-F GAMING motherboard seem to be up to date.

Boot into BIOS, if there is an XMP profile set on your RAM, disable that ,set it to default.

Wait to see if your system stabilizes, if not, to try to force Windows 10 show any faulting drivers, the best option would be to turn on Driver Verifier, let your PC crash 3 times, then you must turn off Driver Verifier, and finally, upload any newly created minidump files
