URL's in Phone Link no longer clickable

I am not sure that it is a Win11 problem, I seem to remember links working on my Surface Book with W11 up until a recent update for Phone Link. However I am not an expert.

I switched from 15+ years of Mac use to Windows about 5 or 6 months ago. I also switched to Android phone. I've mostly enjoyed it but the SMS messaging from desktop is probably the single most important program to me after a web browser. I use messaging more than email even.

I had completely extricated myself from the Mac ecosystem iphone, ipad, AppleTV, photos, music, movies) I'm in the process of switching back. If they can't fix this relatively simply feature I'm not sure what to say.

Painful to switch back but this is at least 6 weeks old.

Did the repair and the soft reset. Links still do not open.

I would suggest doing a soft reset of your app may help get things working again.

On your PC:

Select Start > Settings > Apps.

In Apps & features, select the Phone Link app from the list.

Select Advanced options > Reset.

Relaunch Phone Link on your PC.

If this doesn't work, you'll need to reset your apps on both devices.

This solution worked to fix the issue for me initially, but unfortunately hyperlinks stopped working in the Phone Link app again within a few days. I've tried resetting the app again, as well as installing the newest update (1.22042.168.0), but hyperlinks have stayed non-functional.
