THAT WORKED!!! Finally, a solution!! Now all I have to do is follow that PowerShell removal step on my other computers. I'll note that the version after the reinstall is Phone Link 1.22052.554.0 as reported earlier. That update was NOT coming through the About and update process as we were all stuck on .336.0 before.
Same:
Phone Link 1.22052.136.0
Win11
Says I'm up-to-date.
NOT WORKING!
I had the same problem here. I then completely removed Phone Link using Powershell and reinstalled from the Microsoft Store. That got me the latest version, and it did indeed fix the problem with links being unclickable.
How were you able to get this release version? Along with others, I'm on 1.22052.336.0 and it says I'm on the most recent version when I try and update. I've tried searching for 1.22052.553.0 and nothing comes up.
I migrated to Google Messages a few weeks ago and essentially wrote off the MS Phone Link app. After seeing a response in this forum a few days ago saying the latest upgrade is working, I upgraded through through the app as I outlined earlier. Voila! It worked for me.
They may be rolling out the update in batches. WTHKs.
