Official advice to reset multiple times just shifts the blame to the user. With this many users reporting problems, it isn't a user issue; it's an app issue.
If resetting works for you, great. But the user is not the issue. The app is flawed. It worked before. Now it doesn't. They need to fix it. I'm tired of resetting, reinstalling, and reconnecting.
When you go to messages.google.com you should get a small icon in the right side of the address bar that says 'install'. That should install the official chrome extension and allow it to run like an app and be pinned to the taskbar etc.
Helpful and great alternative. Thank you! Can't help but be disappointed in the MS phone link dev team and, for that matter, the Windows Mail team as well. They are overwhelmed or just plain decided to not put any energy into these "projects".
Yeah I've been using that a while as a webpage----the ability to install it was a stand alone app is awesome. Works great and I like it better than MSFT's crapplication anyway.
Thank you JohnGarrard! So helpful.!
