USB power setting is missing from the Power Options (running Windows 11)

According to your description, I knew that you don't have "USB settings" in your advanced power options, then you tried installing some fixes, but it still doesn't work. If my understanding is wrong, please correct me in the reply.

The missing of power option entry is likely to be caused by some damaged system files. First of all, it is recommended that you use the following command to try to fix it. Please run Command Prompt as an administrator ("Win" logo key + "Q", enter "cmd", select "Run as administrator"), and enter the following commands one by one.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth 

This command will scan all system files and compare them with official system files, scanning the computer for inconsistencies.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth 

This command must be used when the system file is found to be damaged after the execution of the previous command.

DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth 

This command restores those various system files to the official system source files.

After restarting, Run Command Prompt as administrator, and type the following command:

sfc /scannow

Then I suggest you go into Safe mode to see if it's the system itself problem. Because Safe Mode enables a minimum number of additional services or apps to rule out issues caused by personalized settings and third-party apps .You can click here to view the specific operation steps.

FYI - After doing the scan "no component store corruption detected". What I am trying to do is keep my Logi webcam from periodically flickering. The community has fixed this by changing USB power management settings to prevent the power cutout on the webcam. Is there another way to fix this flickering issue?

This may or may not also be in the same boat as fast boot disappearing from Power settings as well. That can disappear legitimately if hibernation/hybrid support is disabled. I've never noticed USB power settings disappearing but, apparently Windows will just not render in the UI certain things under certain situations instead of keeping it and greying it out or even saying why.

Obviously, since the UI will do this, it absolutely could be receiving a no go on showing those settings. Without the UI stating why its not being added, I have no idea why. And I have no idea at which state the USB power settings is in.

You could try creating a new power plan. It may or may not make a difference. Its there on the left in power options.

I dont think it is the usb power settings. We had the same issues using extenders for Logitech cameras. it was fixed by installing the Logitech software that includes a driver for the camera.

I am having similar troubles with my microsoft studio laptop - it does not have USB settings in power options and subsequently (im assuming) does not recognise the USB device when I plug in my USB C adaptor (connected to arduino board). I have tried every troubleshooting method from the following sites and have had no success: How to Fix The last USB device malfunctioned and Windows doesn't recognize it - Driver Easy as well as USB settings in Power Plan Options on Windows 10 is missing, how to - Microsoft Community and How to Install USB 3.0 Drivers on Windows 11 (lifewire.com) except I was unable to find and install the Intel driver (from this third site).

I also tried your above steps and still no luck. Any thoughts on what else I could try?
