2023-01-10T04:05:51+00:00 HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Of COURSE MS would not create the most basic feature that EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE WORLD would EXPECT even the most BASIC of photo apps to have...
Why would they... They haven't actually FINISHED a piece of software in DECADES!!!!
I mean REALLY! Why even HAVE Photos as part of the app if you can't do the absolute MINIMUM functionality...? GAWD!!!!
How did they skip this feature. The MAIN purpose of linking my phone would be to move things off my phone to my PC to store them. How on earth did the devs figure this was not needed? so dumb!
The app also crashed the first time i used it scrolling through photos, less than 100 of them too! I had high hopes, I'm sad.

2024-01-27T11:47:37+00:00 Thank you for the reply Fred.
I submit that in today's software environment... with all the features available to developers, that for a Microsoft product to exclude this simple, extremely basic function is really beyond belief. They didn't start writing code yesterday, did they? Again... very disappointed in MS products.
I plug in my Olympus camera, open windows explorer, find the DCIM folder and download all my photos at once... and quickly. Why does it take such a painfully long time to download just one photo in Phone Link?

2022-10-11T20:15:19+00:00 Hi ArRios,
This has been bugging me for a while, too. However, there is a workaround.
Open your phone screen within the Phone Link app, then open the Gallery and navigate to the photos you want to transfer.
Now, grab your phone, swipe the screen to turn it on and select the photos you want.
Go back to your pc and drag the photos from the phone screen to wherever you want.
You need to hold your mouse button down for a bit before you start dragging to get the drag to start.
I was able to transfer them in batches of fifty.
Thanks, Sam! That worked for me on my Galaxy S22. You're a genius!
