I just finished building a new pc and installed all the appropriate drivers and software. I have a WIFI 6 router which I have had for a while now and never had any issues with and the motherboard I am using is the ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II AM4 AMD B550 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard. It utilizes the Mediatek MT7921 WIFI card.
The WIFI will randomly disconnect but it says its still connected. Oddly enough I can still load Google and Youtube but nothing else and even then that is intermittent and extremely slow.
Drivers: Ive tried updating, rolling back, deleting and fresh install. no dice
Settings: Ive tried disabling IPV6, Changing from AX to AC to N, etc, Disabled the Bluetooth since its the same adapter. no dice.
Ive even checked to see on another device if my pc is connected to my router while its in this disconnected state and it shows that its connected to my router but it will not connect properly to the internet. I have not had this issue with any other device on my network so I am to conclude that it is most likely to do with this new pc and this Mediatek WIFI Adapter.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

The truth is that I have crossed my fingers and it has not worked for me, when I open a game like battlefront 2 in a matter of seconds the internet is cut off and stops responding correctly, could you please upload the driver folder that you downloaded please, I thank you very much, if this no longer works for me I will take the computer to warranty, although I know that this is the work of a windows update.

If I recall correctly, I installed this driver through the Windows Device Manager. You will need to download it, unzip the archive, and then go to windows device manager. Look under "Network Adapters" and find "Mediatek MT7921." Right click that and then click "update driver." Choose "browse my computer for driver." Find the folder that you extracted and choose that. If the driver that you are currently using is newer, Windows may say that it already has the best driver. In this case, you will probably have to uninstall the current driver first, then install the driver that I have provided. Anyways, I hope that it works for you. To be honest, it might be easier to simply return the PC. I probably would have already done that but the situation is a bit more complicated for me because I purchased the computer in the USA and then moved to another country... so international shipping is expensive and just more complicated. Thankfully, I have determined that the hardware works correctly and that it is a driver problem.
One other option for you. Another person on this threat named "NickBryson" has suggested a fix that works for him. You may want to try that. I hope it works.
I've been experiencing the same issue. In my case, my laptop is a MSI Modern A5M (Ryzen 5) running Windows 11 and the WiFi6 adapter is the MT7921K (RZ608). It's been two months with this laptop and the error is not common (happened like 5 times), but it happens specially if I leave it turned on without use for some hours. When that happens, I need to turn off the PC (sometimes even if I just restart it, the whole wifi funtion dissapears from windows).
I followed the solution @Jeremyb777 posted and it's working fine. I've uninstalled the drivers from Device Manager and reinstalled from the unzipped file @mohnohobot said (MediaTek-FORCED-10x64-79xx_3.03.01.0508-drp). I'll be posting updates but this seems to be the solution. Thank all of you for the help.
That's awesome! So glad to hear! This has been confirmed by many people. You would think that the PC makers would investigate the issue and find out why their drivers have so many problems.
So update on my situation. I've exhausted every trick in the book and looked at everything I could to figure out why my WIFI would drop randomly so I started to notice mine would cut out every 10 -12 hours like clock work and the only way to get it working again is to restart my pc. now I didn't think about it but my phone is also WIFI 6 (S21 ultra) and I always have WIFI but tonight I looked and it didn't have the WIFI 6 logo just the normal WIFI signal logo so I restarted my phone and now it has the WIFI 6 up and running again. Also before this I had emailed back and forth with ASUS tech support (useless) and they wanted me to send in my motherboard for RMA. I wasn't going to tear apart my PC just to have to wait 2-4 weeks for them to figure their lives out. I cant be without my pc that long.
I have narrowed it down to a faulty router. I have Cox internet with their Panoramic WIFI and this issue only happens with WIFI 6 devices. When I go into the router settings my pc shows connected but when I restart the router it disappears like its not connected even though my pc says its connected.
If you are having similar issues don't rule out your router even if it shows connected on both ends. I had to mess with it enough until it actually showed that it was broken.
