I just finished building a new pc and installed all the appropriate drivers and software. I have a WIFI 6 router which I have had for a while now and never had any issues with and the motherboard I am using is the ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II AM4 AMD B550 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard. It utilizes the Mediatek MT7921 WIFI card.
The WIFI will randomly disconnect but it says its still connected. Oddly enough I can still load Google and Youtube but nothing else and even then that is intermittent and extremely slow.
Drivers: Ive tried updating, rolling back, deleting and fresh install. no dice
Settings: Ive tried disabling IPV6, Changing from AX to AC to N, etc, Disabled the Bluetooth since its the same adapter. no dice.
Ive even checked to see on another device if my pc is connected to my router while its in this disconnected state and it shows that its connected to my router but it will not connect properly to the internet. I have not had this issue with any other device on my network so I am to conclude that it is most likely to do with this new pc and this Mediatek WIFI Adapter.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I think it's pretty much confirmed that there must be some defective drivers being deployed through HP and Asus. The Lenovo ones seem to be working better. However, I still have an occasional issue with the wifi... but thankfully the windows troubleshooter seems to fix it. I think all it does is disable and reenable the device.
THIS IS ABSURD!! This problem was caused by a Windows Update. For me is the second time to have problems with those updates. I really need to fix this problem a soon as possible. I need my wifi connection to work. I'm not an IT professional to solve a programing issue.

Yes, it is ridiculous. If you haven't yet tried changing the driver to the one I mentioned in previous posts, I would recommend that as it has fixed the problem for many people. It seems to be bad drivers either provided through Windows update or PC manufacturers. A temporary fix is to go to the start menu and type "troubleshooters." Click the option it recommends. On the pop up window, go to "other troubleshooters" and the one for internet connections. This will usually get it running within about 30 seconds or so as it disables and reenables the network device. Hopefully, we will find a better fix soon. (BTW, I'm just some random guy who stumbled across this fix... not a tech guy).

Is anyone going to talk about the reason why this is happenning is because of the Windows defender firewall?
it happends to me twice in my new asus tuf gaming f15. I disconnected the firewalls, restarted the pc and the wifi connected again
