I just finished building a new pc and installed all the appropriate drivers and software. I have a WIFI 6 router which I have had for a while now and never had any issues with and the motherboard I am using is the ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II AM4 AMD B550 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard. It utilizes the Mediatek MT7921 WIFI card.
The WIFI will randomly disconnect but it says its still connected. Oddly enough I can still load Google and Youtube but nothing else and even then that is intermittent and extremely slow.
Drivers: Ive tried updating, rolling back, deleting and fresh install. no dice
Settings: Ive tried disabling IPV6, Changing from AX to AC to N, etc, Disabled the Bluetooth since its the same adapter. no dice.
Ive even checked to see on another device if my pc is connected to my router while its in this disconnected state and it shows that its connected to my router but it will not connect properly to the internet. I have not had this issue with any other device on my network so I am to conclude that it is most likely to do with this new pc and this Mediatek WIFI Adapter.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

That is working! search in "Google MediaTek-FORCED-10x64-79xx_3.03.01.0508-drp" - only one place where I can download it (be carefully, in that website I can see where is the link on from third try only) now version driver is 3.3.1.508 and in "advanced" tab - MUCH MORE settings, than before. So - ASUS make very bad. Sale laptop 2000+ euro and cant make it WORKING (I even not talking about something special - better than another - no, just simple: working)
I am that that this was able to help you! The crazy thing is that many other computer makers are not offering the most recent driver that works, but are still offering the older one which appears to be corrupt.
Dear Jeremyb777, thank you for your advice. I have Lenovo Ideapad gaming Ryzen7 which has mediatek MT7921 wifi card. If I hadn't read your advice, I would have taken my laptop back to the store, to get another one. Thank you so much, and all best wishes to you. Appreciate your solution.
My laptop ASUS FA506QM5900 also uses this WIFI card and met the same problem recently. I updated the latest driver (version 3.0.1.1309) from support.lenovo.com. It seems working well.
I am glad that it worked for you. This really is strange that the device drivers that are being provided with this seem to be defective. I've never had a problem like this before in my life. Since I installed the lenovo driver that I mentioned, I have only had to run the windows troubleshooter to reset the device 1-2 times as compared to about 10 times a day with the other driver. I'm pretty convinced that the drivers that were provided were bad. The Lenovo one might not be perfect, but had made a huge improvement. I'm hoping to find a future driver that will iron out all of the bugs.
