WIFI 6 (Mediatek MT7921) disconnects randomly

I just finished building a new pc and installed all the appropriate drivers and software. I have a WIFI 6 router which I have had for a while now and never had any issues with and the motherboard I am using is the ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II AM4 AMD B550 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard. It utilizes the Mediatek MT7921 WIFI card.

The WIFI will randomly disconnect but it says its still connected. Oddly enough I can still load Google and Youtube but nothing else and even then that is intermittent and extremely slow.

Drivers: Ive tried updating, rolling back, deleting and fresh install. no dice

Settings: Ive tried disabling IPV6, Changing from AX to AC to N, etc, Disabled the Bluetooth since its the same adapter. no dice.

Ive even checked to see on another device if my pc is connected to my router while its in this disconnected state and it shows that its connected to my router but it will not connect properly to the internet. I have not had this issue with any other device on my network so I am to conclude that it is most likely to do with this new pc and this Mediatek WIFI Adapter.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I have Asus TUF Gaming that I bought last Spring and I didn't have any issue with WiFi not until the Windows 11 update last summer.

I saw your solution this afternoon and gave it a try but it didn't fixed the issue. It works for a while, and then it didn't.

I have this D-Link WiFi dongle/adapter I bought several years ago and supports 802.11 ac for both 2.4 and 5G, I guess this is my ultimate solution for now until Microsoft or ASUS fixed this issue. I never have any issue with WiFi eversince. I disabled Mediatek MT7921 and plugged the dongle in the USB drive.

This is a hassle, specially to my wife who in her online class now. She once almost failed in one of her class because the internet was lost in the middle of her timed online exam.

    unfortunately, the issue still persists
i guess swapping the wifi card to a new one is the only solution

ok i think i somehow got out of this misery
i thought i did everything in my knowledge to fix this issue by myself and was ready to give up but then i thought i did not search how to update drivers manually if the device manager shows "best drivers are already updated"
then i landed on this website
Manually Install Drivers in Windows 10 & 11 - Driver Easy
i followed the steps and i did install the drivers which jeremy had uploaded
now the good news is wifi is working
its just been only a few minutes now
i'll update if this works for long time or not

chat with asus support. tell him, that you want 1 driver wifi for your laptop!
They send me 1 driver con instalador exe. that looks work.
