Tried several things, turned off my firewall, changed my DNS to cloudflare (1.1.1.1), disabled my piehole, ran as administrator... but all failed. I realized my VPN was still on. Turned it off and then it worked fine.
Phone Link won't generate a QR code or PIN

I have Windows 11, and I'm trying to set up Phone Link between my PC and my Android. However, during setup I'm asked from the Phone Link app to generate a QR Code to scan on my phone or a PIN to enter manually, but neither ever appears.
Eventually, it gives me a "no network detected" error with "try again" as my only option, but my network is just fine - it has no problem loading the "Troubleshooting the Phone Link app" website, Windows reports no network problems, and all other apps using the network have no problems.
I have repaired and reset the Phone Link app from Windows 11 settings, but nothing changes.

2024-04-24T08:24:35+00:00 Phone link died for me today, phone said it was connected, windows PC says it wasn't. After much messing around I reset everything, wiped cache & data on the (Android) phone and started again - I left it generating a QRC and after three minutes one popped up and it all connected again.

2024-06-23T01:42:56+00:00 I had the same problem, I uninstalled Kaspersky anti-virus and was able to link to the phone app with no problem.

2024-09-04T14:57:02+00:00 MS junk always some kind of issue, Phone Link at least still worked and opens on my pc given that I can't update or use any other MS apps because the Microsoft Store won't open on my PC (tried all the fixes). Updated the phone link app on my phone now I have the same issue, I'm signed into my MS account on my phone and online and also removed the device from my account (my pc). Trying to set it up fresh again and the app won't generate a PIN or QR code to reconnect to my phone. MS shambles.
Signing in fresh from the phone link app on my PC with a new MS account which is signed in and linked on my phone and still doesn't generate a new QR code or pin, also tried resetting the app which it ticks as done but still nothing. Anyone got a fix for this?
