Phone Link won't generate a QR code or PIN

I have Windows 11, and I'm trying to set up Phone Link between my PC and my Android. However, during setup I'm asked from the Phone Link app to generate a QR Code to scan on my phone or a PIN to enter manually, but neither ever appears.

Eventually, it gives me a "no network detected" error with "try again" as my only option, but my network is just fine - it has no problem loading the "Troubleshooting the Phone Link app" website, Windows reports no network problems, and all other apps using the network have no problems.

I have repaired and reset the Phone Link app from Windows 11 settings, but nothing changes.

I'LL SURELY CAN SAY THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST APP I'M USING TILL NOW BY MICROSOFT..

Thanks for your response. I reset the app. That did not help. I cannot reinstall the app

as it is grayed out and it does not give me the ability to delete and reinstall. If there is a way please let me know. When

I try to open the phone app I get blank white box.

The secret to success was to go to my PCs “Settings -> Apps -> Smartphone-Link app” and there to “Reset the app (loose all app data on the PC)” (not: “Repair” because that preserved the data).

If this would not have worked, I would have tried to re-install the Phone-Link app on my PC because this was another solution recommended here in the MS forum.
