Phone Link won't generate a QR code or PIN

I have Windows 11, and I'm trying to set up Phone Link between my PC and my Android. However, during setup I'm asked from the Phone Link app to generate a QR Code to scan on my phone or a PIN to enter manually, but neither ever appears.

Eventually, it gives me a "no network detected" error with "try again" as my only option, but my network is just fine - it has no problem loading the "Troubleshooting the Phone Link app" website, Windows reports no network problems, and all other apps using the network have no problems.

I have repaired and reset the Phone Link app from Windows 11 settings, but nothing changes.

    Run in admin mode(run as admistrator) phone link app

    Only this worked for me!

    Settings/Apps/Installed Apps - Reset App (When you reset it, the app's data will be deleted.)

    I got it to work by uninstalling the Link to Windows from the Google play store on my Android phone and reinstalling it. Then I saw the behavior that was consistent with the steps. Within the Google play store, you do not see the uninstall option in the listing when you search on it. You have to click into the detail of the Link to Windows to see the uninstall option. See screenshot below for reference.

    I managed to fix by using Settings, Apps, selecting PhoneLink and selecting reset

    Worked first time :-) Happy days

    I've got same problem.

    I'm using Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) and I tried to pause protection... (by right click on KIS icon in system tray) and it didn't work.

    After that I closed KIS ( (by right click on KIS icon in system tray & select Exit). It works.

    And I tried to re-install KIS (Uninstall and install) and I able to use Phone link without any problem.
