A hacker send me a screenshot of me using my computer and told me that they have all my data, also they’re saying that they are gonna make a **** of me

I got the exact same message i did the same thing but he said he still has my data if I delete my PC

Who says they have your data? The scammer who knows nothing about you except your email address and possibly an old password or two if they also bought these from a previous malware distributor.

These people are opportunistic scammers and nothing more, hoping you're foolish enough to give them money for nothing more than sending a threatening email. Put the scammer's email in your Junk email folder (or back there if you took it from there), change any passwords if they sent you those too and get on with life.

Read posts within the thread by myself and a few others who provided more information about these than just another copy of the same message with a different bitcoin account number, since all of those are confused individuals like yourself who actually believe what these obvious scammers are saying, when only your email address and possibly a password or two might be real and typically quite old.

The reason these scam messages are being sent to you is any true attacks using your email address as username and passwords collected via malware if any have already been attempted against whatever accounts might have been involved and have failed, so the original malicious actors gave up and sold your info to another malicious actor who tries to talk you out of your money with this email scam instead, using whatever other info they bought if any to try and build your trust that they're telling the truth about their abilities, which in actual truth are non-existent.

These are nothing more than modern con artists using ancient confidence scheme techniques updated to include current computer and internet related terminology, which since so few consumers really understand any of this, work often enough that it's worth the scammer's time if only one out of 10,000 email addresses actually pay off.

Don't be one of these fools, move the message to the Junk and/or delete it and get back to reality.

change all your passwords to your emails ect. the malware is on your computer because you downloaded something. i erased my computer changed my email passwords on everything because i was getting alerts that someone was trying to access a lot of my accounts sport apps ect. but once I've changed al lmy passwords and put security alerts that notifies me when i sign in to a account . nothing to worry about. just follow these steps. and careful what you download. i thought i was downloading a video editor free on you tube was my mistake

hello i got the same EXACT email what i find strange is that the hacker again sended me a new email with more advance and again 48 hours and same amount but with my old passwords i got his email he was so dumb he changed my SCHOOL ACCOUNT EMAIL the school saw the email and contacted the police btw im in europe so he was in AMERICA fbi got HIM FBI WHAT A **** IM HAPPY THAT IT WAS FAKE

What i can tel to thats a revsion they made in the scam i have the old one you guys have new one almost the same.

But a couple of days ago i got the new one it took him or her 3 MONTHS to make a new email with old passwords i already changed mine and btw my camera was closed with that slide thingy under the glass to cover camera.
