File explorer keeps asking for a sign in but then tells me I can't log in with a personal log in and requires a business or education log in....

I am experiencing this problem too. It seems to me that Microsoft is trying to track every movement of a user's day. Well, I prefer to keep work stuff separate from my home/personal. Now that I have changed jobs I especially do NOT want to be connected to anything associated with the former job.

I'm having the same issue. It's been telling me to log in again with my work account for a while and I've been trying to see how to remove whatever association exists between my personal computer and former work profile. I don't even remember using that account on my personal computer.

I only have a personal account on my computer and it insists to request me to use an account of a former job I had. I have no work related information on my computer anymore and it still asks for me to sign in. How to remove this constant requesting?

How to Remove ‘Please Sign in’ from Windows 11 File Explorer
In case, you want don’t want to see “Please Sign in” in the File Explorer in Windows 11, then here’s how you can remove it as well.
In the File Explorer, you need to click on the (…) and select Options from the menu.
In the Folder options window, you need to head over to Privacy section. Under this, you will see a option that reads “Show files from Office.com“, uncheck the same option.
