win 11 22h2 update printer issue

After updating older machines (2 yrs old) to the new version of windows 11(had previous version of windows 11 installed) or setting up new machines purchased earlier this month that have the new version of windows 11 installed I am no longer able to add printers from my print server. The error message I get is:

Operation cannot be completed (error 0x00000709). Double check the printer name and make sure that the printer is connected to the network. Has anyone else encountered this issue and is there a fix???

    The supplied suggestion:

    Start => Search => Local Group Policy Editor => Computer Configuration => Administrative Templates => Printers => Configure RPC connection settings => Enabled => RPC over named pipes => Apply => Ok => Restart your PC

    I have tried every trick in the book that I could find concerning this issue and nothing worked till now.

    Current setup for the record:

    1 shared Canon 4210 printer attached via USB to primary office Windows 10 Pro computer. All printer drivers and printer firmware has been updated to latest Canon levels. All windows updates have been performed.

    5 Windows 10 computers on private Home Network.... not a DOMAIN setup. All computers can print with no issue.

    Install and setup Windows 11 Pro on another laptop, fresh install. During manually add printer exercise I get a dialog box popup: "Windows couldn't connect to printer..." What I find strange is that the Windows 11 computer can see the printer that is on the shared printer computer but fails with the above.

    Currently at this version: Win 11 Pro -10.0.22621 build 22621.

    With the above supplied suggestion, no more issue. Printer installed and is operational!

    This is a new case, some steps I did regarding this printer sharing problem:

    1. setting regedit to add RpcAuthnLevelPrivacyEnabled
    2. setting in windows feature by ticking net framework 3.5 and smb 1.0
    3. setting in services (run as admin) to change Function Discovery Provider Host and Function Discovery Resource Publication for startup type to Automatic delayed
    4. and finally setting local group police editor (gpedit.msc) to enable
    • Configure RPC connection settings
    • Configure RPC listener settings
    • Printer Browse

    after that restart the computer

    if you've done all the things below, then we have to look for other sources of information
