win 11 22h2 update printer issue

After updating older machines (2 yrs old) to the new version of windows 11(had previous version of windows 11 installed) or setting up new machines purchased earlier this month that have the new version of windows 11 installed I am no longer able to add printers from my print server. The error message I get is:

Operation cannot be completed (error 0x00000709). Double check the printer name and make sure that the printer is connected to the network. Has anyone else encountered this issue and is there a fix???

    Thanks all for your input! This topic, together with blog post about printer error 0x00000709 helped me fix this issue. Finally. I did not realize I also had to do some settings on the sharing computer :D

    Tried all the suggestions above, plus some from other searches for days and nothing worked. Meanwhile all the changes really created a lot of other problems on my Acer Aspire. I finally resorted to System Recovery in settings (keeping all files but re-installing Windows) and went skiing. When I came back (much calmer) I timidly (with fingers crossed) restarted my PC and proceded to set it up like a new device. Had to upload some programs, set up the email accounts etc but laptop acted like new. I was resigned to no printer (which did work off my Android phone all along) and did not even re-install the software (HP 3830) but suddenly it was there & printed flawlessly. Makes no sense but now I can do my income tax!

    (all cases using windows 11 pro ver. 22H2)

    If all the instructions that I mentioned above have been done but still can't connect, you can try the next method, which is to uninstall the printer driver and use the driver from Windows update. the method :

    1. Remove printer from device and printer;
    2. Uninstall printer drivers;
    3. Turn off the printer, then turn it on again so that it is detected automatically, or restart the computer

    in some cases, especially dotmatrix there are conditions where you need to change the driver to the class driver type as I attached :
