Error 0X800f0922 when installing Windows update KB5012170

I have the same issue, the computer after restart cannot finish the update, and the update is rolled back. The issue is when we try to update with KB5012170, Microsoft have this issue under work, and we only can wait until a fix will be. "Microsoft notes that mitigating the issue is possible by updating the UEFI version to the latest version from the vendor." But, I cannot update my motherboard, it is old, without any update for many years. The Microsoft page to check if this issue is resolved is below. Right now, near "Update might fail to install and you might receive a 0x800f0922 error" is "Investigating" and not "Resolved". https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-health/status-windows-10-21h2

i dont wanna update my bios. it will mess up all my settings.

Just to add My resolution of KB5012170 getting 0x800f0922.

I was working on a HP 8300 Elite SFF bios 3.08 and had to go into bios and enable the TPM 1.2 chip and allow OS management of the security device.

After doing that KB5012170 went straight through.

I'd love to know how to do that on a Windows 365 PC. Being facetious, but you'd think the update would detect and go through rather than failing.
