Windows 11 security actions recommended but none found

Has anyone learned how to fix this issue? I don't have any recommendations but this yield sign never goes away.

This thread has turned into one where folks are asking about other issues including the Windows Security icon (blue shield) always showing a yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark ("Actions recommended"). When opening Windows Security (at a glance) for more information this warning is for App & browser control...the most common reason for this is the disabling of potentially unwanted app (PUA/PUP) blocking in Reputation-based protection found under Windows Security > App & browser control > Reputation-based protection settings. 
 
I deliberately have Reputation-based protection disabled on all my laptops because potentially unwanted apps are blocked by default and many of the legitimate programs I use are detected as PUAs or PUPs. That means the yellow triangle (yield sign) always shows but I ignore it. However, many folks don't realize this issue is related to the disabling of that feature and report it as a problem or an issue of concern.
 
Other Windows Security settings (and changes to them) can also cause the appearance of yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark ("Actions recommended") to include the need for updating Virus & threat protection (Security Intelligence), changing Ransomware Protection (Set up OneDrive), turning off Cloud-delivered protection, Automatic sample submission, Tamper Protection or Memory Integrity and using a third-party antivirus. You may need to look through all your security settings for more information about each feature. Sometimes just clicking the "Dismiss" notice will make the yellow triangle go away. In some cases even if you open Windows Security and it shows all green check marks, the yellow triangle may be present for no apparent reason but disappears after an update or just by restarting Windows.

had to turn on app and browser security- then it was all good. Just typed (app and browser) into the search bar- it came up- went to the page and then turned it on. Hope that helps. Back to green check box.
