Version: Windows 11 22H2
I'll add a bit more. When using virtual desktops, it's very easy to encounter this issue, and it has been quite bothersome for me.
Icons Keep Disappearing From Taskbar - Windows 11
I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 a few months ago, and ever since I've been having a problem where the icons disappear from the taskbar. It happens while I'm using the laptop as well as when it comes out of hibernation.
I know this can be fixed temporarily by restarting Windows Explorer in the task manager, but this is happening several times a day and it's getting annoying. Is there a permenant fix yet?
I'm using Windows 11 Home version 21H2 build 22000.856 on a HP laptop with an Intel i5 1035G1 processor and 8GB of RAM. The problem didn't exist when I was running Windows 10.
Thanks.

I doubt, thats the same issue we have. Your Icons are displayed wrong but there are icons
Look at the Screenshots from ln Ch to compare. Some of his icons are gone blank.
It's the same for me.
That why the TaskManager fix wont work for you.

2023-11-25T09:21:31+00:00 No, for new laptop this problem is also occured. I have new HP laptop with preinstalled Windows 11, but after earlier updates in windows it caught this icon disappearing issue.
Kindly stop posting such types of updates or post a stable one with properly tested, so that this type of glitch would not come again in the system.
