Not sure that anyone has an easy workaround - but the very fact that there are so many workarounds in circulation ought to show Microsoft that there is indeed a problem here.
Icons Keep Disappearing From Taskbar - Windows 11
I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 a few months ago, and ever since I've been having a problem where the icons disappear from the taskbar. It happens while I'm using the laptop as well as when it comes out of hibernation.
I know this can be fixed temporarily by restarting Windows Explorer in the task manager, but this is happening several times a day and it's getting annoying. Is there a permenant fix yet?
I'm using Windows 11 Home version 21H2 build 22000.856 on a HP laptop with an Intel i5 1035G1 processor and 8GB of RAM. The problem didn't exist when I was running Windows 10.
Thanks.

2023-07-11T00:53:44+00:00 Greetings from July 2023 where this issue has still not been fixed. It always pops up after my computer has been hibernating for a couple hours and the only fix is to either click all the invisible icon buttons or restart windows explorer. The fact that this still has not been fixed a year later is quite pathetic, Microsoft.

2023-07-13T02:18:51+00:00 The issue disappeared for few days with no windows updates installed. Then today came back again. Glad I didn't celebrate too early smh
