Icons Keep Disappearing From Taskbar - Windows 11

I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 a few months ago, and ever since I've been having a problem where the icons disappear from the taskbar. It happens while I'm using the laptop as well as when it comes out of hibernation.

I know this can be fixed temporarily by restarting Windows Explorer in the task manager, but this is happening several times a day and it's getting annoying. Is there a permenant fix yet?

I'm using Windows 11 Home version 21H2 build 22000.856 on a HP laptop with an Intel i5 1035G1 processor and 8GB of RAM. The problem didn't exist when I was running Windows 10.

Thanks.

Same issue here... I have had this issue since I got this laptop that came with Win11.

Can't figure out what exactly causes it... It just appear to happen randomly...

Right click on the icon doesn't help. But if I left click twice, to maximize and minimize the window, it appears again.

I usually have to do it several times, since I have several programs open and don't know witch is witch (also because windows keep rearranging the icons...).

I don't know if anyone from Microsoft is even reading this, but this is why people buy Macs.

I had animations disabled and that fixed it temporarily (for 1-2 months), but now it works again with animations enabled.

I don't know exactly what fixed it, but I also did install the latest Intel graphics driver recently (31.0.101.2127 from Feb 1st, 2024).
