Icons Keep Disappearing From Taskbar - Windows 11

I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 a few months ago, and ever since I've been having a problem where the icons disappear from the taskbar. It happens while I'm using the laptop as well as when it comes out of hibernation.

I know this can be fixed temporarily by restarting Windows Explorer in the task manager, but this is happening several times a day and it's getting annoying. Is there a permenant fix yet?

I'm using Windows 11 Home version 21H2 build 22000.856 on a HP laptop with an Intel i5 1035G1 processor and 8GB of RAM. The problem didn't exist when I was running Windows 10.

Thanks.

    No display at all.

    RDP Connection.

    Still, this happens to me.

I don't think this is driver issue, this is a Bug in Windows Explorer.

I'm using a Desktop PC, with one HDMI and one DVI port. The DVI port/cable converts to a HDMI. Then both HDMI cables connect to my monitors. This did not happen until recently (maybe past six month?). So I doubt it has anything to do with the monitors or cables. I suspect it started after a windows update. Currenlty running Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems Home.

I observed this occurring on my external monitor, which is linked through a DisplayPort 1.4 cable link.

What type of cable connection are you using?

(I'm using a new desktop PC with the latest hardware and the most recent version of Windows 11 installed.)
