Good idea. Yes I will definitely go back to Mac.
Please bring back the ability to freely arrange icons within folders "DISABLE AUTO ARRANGE"!
I just want to "disable" confounding Auto Arrange files within folders in Windows 10. I can't understand that when you leave file/folder icons in the position and order that you want and then Windows decides to mix them up. I'm continually wasting time trying to find lost data. It's ridiculous. Does anyone know or can create something that just allows you to arrange or sort files within folders, and Leave them alone, without the OS messing them up?

2023-06-27T21:15:26+00:00 Just posting to voice my own frustration with this feature being disabled and cast another vote for restoring it in the next update.
I've submitted a request to have it restored to the Feedback Hub, you can vote for it, if you care to, here: https://aka.ms/AAlcj22

2023-06-28T01:30:46+00:00 Yeah, I'm still struggling every Windows 10 startup. It will never leave folders/files (icon view) in same place or order as I left them!. I bought a Mac now. Wow! what a relief. It actually stays the same as you left it! So crazy that Microsoft doesn't care to fix an an absolutely logical and crucial computer function. If they don't fix/return/patch Windows 10 very soon I'm going to go all Mac OS from now on. It' a real deal breaker for me now. Makes no sense to MS but I guess that's the way they are. Really really disappointed.

2023-07-24T08:59:58+00:00 Another frustrated user here! If you've got a folder full of images and you just want to select a few for this and a few for that, being able to just drag the icons around a folder (into two separate corners of the folder, for example) and then change/swap them round if you want is incredibly useful. Seems insane that the ability to do this was removed,

2023-09-06T13:48:43+00:00 When the H is microsoft going to fix this screw up??? This is getting ridiculous you push us to keep going to the newer versions of your broken OS. At the same time you keep removing more and more features from the OS. Stop making it more "user friendly" by taking out useful features. In fact this doesn't even make it more "user friendly". I would like to know who the twit is at microsoft that comes up with these brain fart ideas. You are screwed if you need to rename a bunch of files in a folder because as you go down the list and rename them it automatically shoots files around the split second you hit the tab key. This is annoying, the file should stay where the hell it was unless I tell it to arrange.
You need to hire people with a brain and common sense, and not people that are trying to fill their annual job goals by removing useful features just to prove their "worth."
