Has Microsoft EVER listened to and reacted to their customers?
Bringing back : "Auto arrange - none" (in folders) sounds like it would make lots of Microsoft customers happy...why doesn't Microsoft want their customers to be happy??
Please bring back the ability to freely arrange icons within folders "DISABLE AUTO ARRANGE"!

I just want to "disable" confounding Auto Arrange files within folders in Windows 10. I can't understand that when you leave file/folder icons in the position and order that you want and then Windows decides to mix them up. I'm continually wasting time trying to find lost data. It's ridiculous. Does anyone know or can create something that just allows you to arrange or sort files within folders, and Leave them alone, without the OS messing them up?

2023-04-22T10:24:17+00:00 that's exactly why I came to this forum...I fully expected someone to point me to a small app that fixed the problem Microsoft created. I was sure that someone would have already created a "folders control app" (since Microsoft is so anti-let-the-customer-decide).

When I search the topic, I get many hits on arranging Desktop icons, but next to nothing in regards to arranging icons within folders. It never appeared to be a hot topic. It's obviously super important to you. It just doesn't appear to be important to a lot of other users."
I don't know who Microsoft talked to to determine most people don't use icons in folders - I know they didn't ask me! Why would they take away such an option! I also find it EXTREMELY frustrating and wastes precious time every day. Just give users the option and let them decide how they want their folders to look!
