Windows 10 import picture's and videos not detecting correct android pictures!!

Hello, when I use windows 10 explorer's import pictures and videos on my galaxy s8, the import wizard shows up but they all have the wrong photo which is different from whats showing within android. For some reason, the import pictures and video wizard doesn't detect more than 4k files even thought I have alot more than 4k files. Also, even though the folder to where the pictures/videos are being imported to is empty, windows still shows this error:

    As a workaround, you can try the Photos app.

    See "Using the Photos app and Android device" in this post:

    Or, use the "AirDroid" app from Google PlayStore to download photos from your Android phone.

    After deleting C:\Users[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\photo acquisition\Previously Acquired.db I restart the photo import wizard and I still get the same error. I am CERTAIN that there is no other file located on my C drive with this filename. Why is this keep happening? Please respond I have no heard back from you in more than a day

    Ideally, I would like to use windows 10 explorer import pictures and videos because it retains the photo date and timestamp. Using phone link doesn't preserve that

    You can use Phone Link to transfer photos, visit View and manage photos from your Android device on your PC (microsoft.com) for specific steps.

    Hello, the same problem is occurring with a new microsoft user account, I have also tried different USB ports and tried importing to a external hard drive, micro sd card for example E: drive. There seems to be a lot of lag after connecting the galaxy s8 to the PC and windows 10 explorer hangs and freezes then crashes.

    This is another error I got when clicking on "Images" in smart switch
