How do I display thumbnails in pictures; tried selecting pictures, all folders, large icons, apply, didn't work, tried selecting default settings, didn't work, help!

You can try the tactics mentioned at the beginning of this stream but, I found them to be pretty ineffective (i.e. select pictures, click on the 3 menu dots ... , select options, click on the "view" tab, un-check "always show icons, never thumbnails"). What I found was that this issue initiated with OneDrive's sync. Once I uninstalled OneDrive, my problems ceased. If you need a cloud storage, consider using Google Drive.
I definitely agree. I tried all the settings as suggested but until I deleted One Drive, I could not view my photo thumbnails.
Delete One Drive and you're going to see your thumbnails.
This is BS. Doesn't work Windows 11 does NOT Display preview of photographs and I am STUCK with this SH*T Ooperating System.
