No internet connection

So I wanted to make my laptop a second monitor for my PC. But it didn't work, so I searched on YouTube about how to do it and someone said that I needed to reset my network, so I reset it and after that I couldn't connect to my network on device manager. It shows a yellow exclamation triangle. And at other devices have the same triangle. My network adapter is Intel(R) Ethernet Connection 1217-LM. Please help me.

    So do I need to search on Google PCI Serial Port driver? And download it?

    No need to search, you should find the chipset driver on the support page for your PC

    Hi Szabo,

    I notice the drivers on the HP website are old,

    The best option is to download the Intel Driver and Support Assistant from the Intel website, then run that to see if it can find more compatible device driver.
